The outlet temperature of a turbo running at 1 bar boost is around 110 degrees C. That gives a specific density of 0.91kg/m^3
Air at the same pressure but 50 degree C has a specific volume of 1.25kg/m^3.

This translates directly to the volume of air you can cram into the cylinders, and thus the volume of oxygen present for combustion.

While I said before that an intercooler has no direct effect on the turbo, remember that this same (increased) volume of air also goes through the high-pressure side of the turbo, spooling it up.

The little bit of reduced friction in the piping between the turbo and the engine is more than compensated by the increase in air volume going through the system.

I am sure this will result not only in higher power and reduced EGT's but also in reduced turbo lag, thus better responsiveness.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.
