Nee jong - Dastek se dyno gee nie wringkrag syfers nie :thumbdown:

Meeste van die ouens wat sulke conversions doen reken mens eindig met so tussen 360 Nm (sonder intercooler) en hier by die 400 Nm (met intercooler). Die 4.2 motor & ratkas in my patrollie was egter nie gebou vir sulke syfers nie, dus sal ek nie my wa ooit gebruik om woonwaens mee te sleep nie omdat ek te bang is om skade aan te rig :rolleyes:

Chuck kry more sy EGT sensor, dan sal ek ten minste meer gerus wees wanneer ek daai lang bulte vang op boost...

n EGT guage is n MOET op n diesel,en beteken weer niks op n petrol enjin,al is dit turbo.Maar ek moet iets se oor jou ratkas.Jy hoef nie te huiwer om iets te sleep nie.Patrols se onderkant is sterk baie sterk,die aste ook.Ek mik vir 450 en meer newtons op my diesel en sal dit kry.Wat ook al die kw op eindig aanvaar ek,ek weet dit behoort nie swak te wees nie.Die manne in AUS kry tussen 700 en 1000 nm en tot op 190kw met hul std onderstel patrols.Hulle se jy moet net nie oor 2 bar boost nie, want dan kan die conrods langs die blok uit val :surprised: O ja die enjin se binne kos is std.Ek moet se die 1000 nm en 190 kw outjies het ander c-rods in en boude.(dis nou conrod boude) :biggrin: Wat die ratkas en aste aangaan,dit bly std.Solank die egt 's onder 700 grade,voor turbo,bly is jou enjin veilig.Ek moet net noem dat die injector pomp kom std met n 10mm piston,wat diesel lewer voor.en word dan terug gehou om groot krag te maak,maar jy kan nog altyd met 140kw en 450 nm op eindig.Natuurlik as die turbo kan boost lewer.Van die patrols het met n 11mm piston in die pomp uit gekom,maar hulle is wyd gesaai.Ek is eerlik as ek se dat my kar se ratkas my nie bekommer nie,en ek sal met n rooi gesig :redface: erken die dag as ek myne stukkend ry.

I also did a curve fit to these points, which seems to indicate that the maximum power is 94 kW at 2764 rpm and the maximum torque is 359 Nm at 2318 rpm after the injector change.

It is not clear whether the figures in Christo's table are measured wheel output power values or calculated flywheel power figures. If the latter, bear in mind that several assumptions are made about the frictional losses in the drivetrain and at the tyres in order to arrive at a flywheel power figure. These assumptions are all very debatable, so these calculated flywheel power and torque figures should not really be taken to be absolutely true. Dynamometers are most useful as tools to compare the results before and after modifications (if the dyno operator is honest and the same conditions apply for the before and after runs...).

I will try to post a picture of the power and torque curves a little later.

Your calculations are spot on,but Cristo's diagram claim BHP,which his max power is 93.7KW.Any way 482nm is possible.but not with a std injector pump.Most of the Patrols pumps are 10mm piston fuel delivery,and should make 400nm plus.The 11mm piston fuel delivery,set to max fuel,will go over 500nm.

Eish - en daar verloor my Patrollie sommer 'n 100 Nm oornag! :rolleyes:

Baie dankie vir al daai somme, Gerrit. Ek moet erken - my wa voel meer soos 'n 360 Nm kar as een met amper 500 Nm :biggrin:

Ek wetie mooi of Dastek se dyno resultate geskatte wielkrag gee nie, maar ek weet hulle het nie die ratkas verwyder om die werklike flywheel-krag te meet nie!
