I called Frik - I will get 4 tins black from him on the weekend and get those rims done proto!
I think he said the price was +-170 per tin

Please tell us more on how you prepped and coated the rim. Did you remove the tyres? How many coats? Drying times? What happens when you put the tyre back on or remove it? Is it really durable? How far did you get with a tin?

Right - 5 rims done.
I my view it looks seriously cool.
used 4 tins of matt black plastidip.
Very easy to do - just clean well, put some playing cards between rim and tyre and away you go. First layer must be very light. Do at least 5 or 6 layers, dont let it run.

I used 4 tins for 5 rims!
Obviously the more layers you do the easier it is to remove eventually by peeling it off - Frik advised one tin per rim though, but I only bought 4 initially. I managed around 5 layers which should be okay.
