As Grant says.... on a 4.2 diesel with 6 of the best ( cylinders) and a 22:1 compression ratio, I am not even convinced that in 5th gear you will get that wheel to spin.

Saltman it should work on permanent 4x4 as long as no diffs are locked. The permanent 4x4 has a diff mechanism between the wheels as well as one in the center. That is why my Defender is all out of ideas with one wheel in the air, center diff unlocked.

I should have tested it yesterday when I was bored.
