After losing a tyre I bought a TPMS system from Abraham on the community forum. It is the screw on type-JETTE for R1850- 6 tyre system.I want to use it on a steel patrol rim.It seems as a short valve stem would work but cannot find any in Pretoria east,do anyone know where I might find any as I believe you can get them or should I just drill another hole in the rim in a more protected area?
Some feedback if anyone else had the same problem.Motorbikes have the same size valve as motor cars.Bought short valve stems from them and had them fitted. TPMS is protruding significantly less. Was never keen on drilling an extra hole in the rim.
