yipp - Cat is catelitic convertor -- hy verkrummel met tyd en verstop dan jou exhozt [50% of meer]
Boezman se krag en performance na ons daai cat.. uitgegooi het [dit was al erg verbrokkel] is verstommend .. hy trek soos 'n trein, selfs sterker as Agarob..

Is dit dan nie beter om 'n Free Flow op te sit nie? Dit neem dan die warm gasse vinniger weg van die engine af?
Ek het die cat uitgehaal, dis nou slegs 'n lee boks.

Wat het oom alles gedoen met Agarob om hom uit te sorteer?? Vir my maak dit net sin dat dit 'n radiator, waterpomp issue is.
Tinus het my vroeer geskakel en ook genoem dat dalk het 'n slim mater van daardie radiator conditioner en stop leak goed in die stelsel ingegooi?

ek het free flow op Agarob gesit -- en nou op Boezman sommer die boxe kompleet UITgehaal en een 63mm pyp agtertoe gevat

Daai bakki maak seeeeeriajss groot krag [sal hom mis as hy weg is ... moet darem byse - die Prado V6 is nie 'n 'slouch' nie

Spyt jy het die £"%^*()%@ Datsun gekoop??? :pray: Alles loop reg......

Ok dan, ek ken nie die Datsuns so goed nie, maar weet 'n freeflow exhaust maak 'n groot verskil, of die kar nou warm word of nie - Oom Mac praat van 63mm - hoekom daar stop? 68 of dalk eerder 76mm laat my meer op my gemak voel.

Dalk in elk geval die radiator 'n ekstra core gee? MAAR het onlangs met 'n so called Radiator boffin(self proclaimed) gepraat en die reken toe 'n dunner core maak vinniger koud - lug beweeg vinniger deur, ens. Die teorie maak amper sin, maar ek is nie so seker nie?

Het jy nie groot spots voor die radiator op nie?

Kry jy 'n AMC head vir die Trollies?

Sou jy die head roete moet gaan, laat hom ordentlik gasflow by iemand wat weet wat hy(NIE 'n maatskappy NIE) doen. Kyk dan na http://www.homeimprover.net/redline/Index.htm vir head gaskets.

Dag manne,

Ek sal julle binne kort my storie vertel wat se issue jy het met die 3,0di na 4,2 conv. Na ek al die komentaar gelees het op die site het ek besluit ek sal ook verseker daar uit kom eventually met 'n 4,2 verseker maar met die 3L is dit 'n gamble.
Ek is besig met die conversion wag net gou vir my nuwe engin mountings van nissan dan gaat ons voort. Myne is Manual.
Ek hou jou op hoogte.

Thabo, jy kan daai Patrol trap dat dit spat soos wit fisant vere, en niks word warm nie. Hy hardloop soos 'n honger jack russell, daar is geen keer nie. En dis selfs na hy warm geword het verlede week oppad vakansie toe.

Dis net sodra jy daardie sleepwa hak wat vol is dan word hy nou warm. Die interessante is weereens soos vroeer genoem, die EGT wys niks hitte nie. :think: :snooty: Dit wys mos hy werk nog nie hard nie.

Nee, nog nie spyt oor die Patrol nie.

Heinrich, was the air-conditioner on or off? I have noticed that my car tends to get hot when working hard with the air-con on, but the temerature drops very quickly when I turn off the air-con.
