Eerstens baie geluk Peter en Sonja !!

Die hele trip lyk awesome !! Ons was in Kasane 13 tot 20 ste (April) en ek kyk met heimwee na jul foto's. Ook groot komplimenta aan die fotograaf - hier is regtig 'n hele klomp stunning pics - dis veral nie maklik om 'n ordendelike voel in vlug foto te neem nie - ek is beindruk. Watter datums was julle in Kasane ?

We arrived in Kasane on the evening of the 3rd, and left on the morning of the 6th. Sorry we missed you.

I have posted photos taken by most of the people who went on the trip, although most of them were either mine or Sonja's. I don't really like posting other people's pics, even if I have their permission.

As far as birds in flight go, that is my favourite subject, and most of those (particularly the smaller birds) are mine. However, I blame the camera. The D7000 is great for that and over time I have developed a setting that works very well. All the photographer has to do is get the bird somewhere in the middle and squeeze, almost like with a shotgun, just easier.

Peter,
When I read through your thread again I remembered that I took a pic of these two cruisers in Kasane and it seems this is why it is so popular to travel with them throughout Africa - there are so many that broke down all over - therefore second hand parts are readily available everywhere
