Camplight brilliant and bright

Post by Vaatjie »

CampLight has an ultra low power consumption and with the two modes of operation it makes CampLight a more attractive alternative to other 12V operating camplights. Power consumption on high will be 160mA and on dim 60mA (5% accuracy up or down). These lights can be mounted anywhere with terry clips or velcro.

CampLight is reverse voltage protected and it will not damage 12V batteries by draining them completely. It will switch to dim mode at 11V and turn off at 10,5V.

The 2 modes that can be selected is a normal mode and a daylight switch mode. The normal mode allows for CampLight to be switched between on, dim and off. In day-timer mode CampLight will automatically turn on when it gets dark and turn off after 6 hours or when it sense day light again.

Now you can set up camp, go for a safari drive and be welcomed back to a lit camp site. If you are already in your sleeping bag, just leave the light on and it will turn off by itself after 6 hours.

The light is easy to use, small and light weight. Extension leads and joining up of lights can be done with normal DIY wire and plugs. Pictures to follow.

Technical information:
Dimenstions (mm) 100 x 20
DC cable 2.5m
Timer 6 hour night timer
Protection Low volts and reverse polarity
Maximum volts 16V
Minimum volts 10.5V
Power Consumption On - 1.8Watt (150mA)
Dim - 0.7Watt (60mA)

Price range is as follows:
1 to 2 units R285 each
3 to 4 units R265,00 each
5 to 10 units R250,00 each
more than 10 units R225,00

I like this type of gadgets, you can use it in your home, camping trailer,vehicle, actually anywhere.
This just proof when people buy stuff, dont buy anything that cant be used elsewhere,than it becomes a white elephant.
Any other clips thats available , like on you tube about this light?

Chaps I have just bought myself a LED LENSER Torch, well I can tell you it makes a LED Maglite se naam gat, groot gat.

Koos, fill us in please.

* Picture?
* Price?
* From where?

I use a "Multi-function LED Emergency light", powered by a 6v battery. Features a 24 LED lamp unit and also a 4 LED torch. Lamp run time is 100 hours in torch mode, and 50 hours in lamp mode. Fully portable, but will not fit in a cubby hole (unless your vehicle has a BIG cubby hole!)

Hello guys. The lights were build purely for camping/overlanding purposes. That is why I made it as small as possible and with a day/night sensor and battery cut off protection. The other concern was power usage(see specs). When you go out on a game drive in the evening and you will only return ofter dark you use the day/night setting. When you arrive back at camp atleast one or two lights will be on.
This is not a bissiness for me, I made the lights to suit my needs and are selling some to cover my cost.

Manne

Hello Vaatjie,

I would like to get some of these lights - at least 2 to start with. Do you use a normal cigarette lighter plug or is it the hella plug?? Do you have "stock" available - if possible I would like to get them before this coming long weekend and could fetch them from you - I stay in Welgemoed.

Thanks

Hello Pieter. Jammer man.

Kom kyk by my en dan gee ek jou 'n paar idees.
