TJM XGS Front springs - Warranty Claim?
Hizit chaps,
Fitted my springs in March 2010, they have been fantastic springs and have not had any problems, until now.
I took a closer look a short while ago only to find that the paint was stripping badly and rust has reared its ugly head subsequently. Is this normal for aftermarket springs to look like this (see pic) after only a 1.5 years (actually, sooner as it was obviously cracked ages ago)?
Also, i have noticed that they have sagged to a small degree.
(Note: i understand that the spring was going to settle, it did so, but has now sagged beyond this settle point in my opinion.)
Should i take them back to Alu-Cab / LA Sport here in CT where i got them and demand a replacement set or what?
Best
Russ

A friend of mine had huge issues with TJM springs on his Rubicon Unlimited, three sets in about 18 months.

Hi Russ,
I have sent the pictures to Louis at LA Sport HQ. They are the Motor show and will come back to me on Monday. I will then post a reply from them. As you might know I am a share holder in one of the stores and thus have direct access to the powers.

Grant, i really appreciate your attention to this. On friday i took it to Alu cab/LA Sport here in Ct (where i purchased the suspension) , they were very helpful and understanding. The agreed that the springs were in very poor condition and said they would get beck to me this week with an answer , so if its not the correct answer i might need to lean on you for help!, but, im sure they will come through and have them replaced with no issues.
I will keep posting here.
Best

Reply from the HQ,
He can claim those coils at his nearest LA SPORT branch. I am out of stock on those coils currently.
Shipment is coming in middle of November.
