I bought a set of 17" mags and getting them sprayed black with one times "bling"lip ekse!
I be thinking maybe got some charow in my blood!
I like them steel rims, but no 17" in S.A.
so - who ever told me that the pro-white rims have a "buckle" in them [often] ... did he lie to me?
other thing just struck me- that juppy with the Subaru with the "effort on gold" rims, maybe I must have him read this thread - Black rims would look soooo cool on that blue Subi...

Russ I had a look at the different spares shop around here the Hammerite they sell is more a grayish black mixture than a true black, the tin says the outcome will be like the cap on the tin and the cap looks like work not done properly
Or must one maar just spray it until it is copletely black?

1: Hammered black - this IS a true black but has a metalic finnish, and on some materials it will have the Hammered finnish which looks like tiny cracks. I used this as on rims it just comes out as a metalic finnish.
2: Smooth Black - this is a true black (like a satin finnish) , semi shine, no Hammered or metalic finnish, just good old black.
In my opinion, on a well prepared rim the hammered black is the answer.
