G-Man there is a report in the SA4x4 where two guys from LA SPort (I think) took their bakkies (a hilux and an Amarok) up Baboons pass.

Two of the guys bent their rocksliders so badly that they had to have the vehicles panelbeaten. This is not the kind of rockslider I want, but I am sure the manufacturer said somewhere in his marketing material that they are "robust"? :biggrin:

Moerse sterk = Heinrich Brussouw
Robuust = Schalk Burger

Guys the rocksliders JG has are the ones made by Org Knoetze. The ones he makes for the Patrol follows the body contour even better, and looks very snazzy. Definately the nicest commercial rocksliders I have yet seen, and although they are not cheap, they probably aren't exhorbitant.
Andries (Johndough) has them on his car, perhaps he can post a couple of pics?

Oom Mac I guess that Baboon's probably changes drastically depending on how much rain has fallen, but I do beleive that if you can bend your car behind a rockslider then either the rockslider is not good enough or there is a serious problem with red mist and judgement (says he whose running boards look a bit like koeksusters)?
