Unfortunately, my time in Philippines has come to an end and thus the patrol TD42 had to go. It served its purpose with honor. I have a new found appreciation for this diesel tractor and may rejoin the fam if I can find another. There ain't many in the us.
Thanks much for the community and replies.
Cheers

Sorry to see you go. But good luck for the future. And if you manage to find a trol in the US, we're always here... :salute:

Oh, just a note:
I am under the impression Ford sold re-badged GQ's in America under the name "Maverick" or something similar?

There are Patrol-based Ford Mavericks which are basically GQ Patrols. These were sold in the US - in what numbers I have no idea. From '93 onwards though, I believe any Ford Mavericks in the US were re-badged Nissan Terranos. Fantastic vehicles - I like them muchly - but they are not Patrols.

Ford Maverick was a rebadged GQ patrol. (in Australia), didn't know that they were also in the states.

"Between 1988 and 1994, Ford Australia marketed the Patrol as the Ford Maverick."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Patrol

"From 1988 to 1994, Ford Australia rebadged the Y60 Patrol as the Ford Maverick.[4] The car was mechanically similar, although the Nissan version had rear disc brakes depending on vehicle grade, while the Ford mostly had drum brakes and featured different paint colours and trim levels."

Canada got a few patrols. It seems the US only imports from japan. Pristine units, but because of this and import fees they're usually asking an arm and a leg.
Funny here in PH price of a toyota is 3-5x nissan and in US opposite is true.
