From a South African perspective (and with very little knowledge of the US situation):
This is probably the most sought after version of the Patrol here in South Africa. Note that this is a Y60, which would be called a Patrol here, not a Safari, but they mixed and matched the names in different sales regions.
But that is because shorties are extremely scarce.
Having just owned a long-wheelbase Y60, most of the running gear (gear box, transfer case, axles, suspension components) will be familiar to you as they would be basically the same as on your previous car (there may be detail differences such as whether or not the rear axle has an LSD or a locker, and the rear suspension may have a built-in sway bar disconnect. Springs and shocks will be different due to the weight.
The area of concern is that there appears to be rust on the body, and the condition of the engine. If these TD42's are neglected they often overheat and crack the head. Rebuilds are expensive but parts are at least still available (may have to be imported though, not sure if that engine was used for anything that was sold in the US in any quantity).
I think it deserves a close look, depending on how far it is to you, but that price seems very high from a South African perspective. You could get a very good condition one here for that money.

The Y60 series Nissan Patrol GQ was marketed in USA and some other countries in the Americas, was marketed as FORD MAVERICK [some time after the NISSAN TERRANO her and Europe was also badged Ford Maverick

It was "marketed" but was it ever sold. I can't seem to find any fords. Also, from my understanding patrol was not allowed in US for poor safety crash test results. Hence no fords as well, but I'll look.
BTW the swb safari is canadian dollars and i saw the rust and canada has harsh winters so engine

It was sold as a Maverick in Australia not the US.
When I first saw this thread three things came to mind.
1. It's a lot of money for a "beater", relatively by American standards
But on the other side of the coin
2. It's an import diesel which are very sought after there, and
3. It's very low mileage for a diesel. Still plenty life left in it
So I suppose if you can get your head around the price then it's a good truck to go for
