Sorry for keeping this short and sweet, but I have typed this story out twice and in both instances, I have lost all content. So hopefully 3rd times the charm.
Also, I would rather like to meet you all in the near and just tell the story in person.
So the short version is as follows, I bumped into Micahel (the master mechanic) while looking at a patrol which he was looking at for a client. He left before we could really chat, got his details from the place where the Patrol was standing, and just like that I ended up at his house, or what I like to call it heaven.
Showed him the trolls I had lined up for viewing and discussed how all are great options if one day I would like to TD42 TURBO

He then said he know of someone that has something for sale and is just around the corner. Got the details and jumped on the phone.
Derick Rouw answered and said I can come to have a look at his place of work. The Patrol was parked outside in all its green and glory and it was love at first sight. (not the best mindset to purchase a vehicle in)
Went for a drive and it just made everything worse, but I had to sell my current daily which a Patrol had to replace. guess what true as nuts one of Derick's co-workers were hanging around my bakkie, and as soon we stopped he asked how much. Well I replied with an easy "as much as Derick is selling his patrol for"
Rest is history, picked her up on Friday and drove home lie just won the Lotto.
Driving it takes me back to time was never part of and man it feels good. Reminds of a very loyal dog a had named "koevoet" which has sadly passed hence the name of a long-lost friend.
Oh and just to add to this meant to be a story, I was born in Feb 1995, and on the vehicles, build plate is says "built-in Feb 1995"
So with no further delay, I present to you "KoevoeT"
First picture with some new shoes fitted on Saturday, long story to tell as it blew a brake line while on the alignment rig
