WEGRY/DRIVEOUT DES /JAN

Post by KOOS BEST »

Congrats to Ross for his article of the Wildcoast.
Ross the wildcoast is the most scenic unspoilt piece of our coastline. I enjoy it very much to go there. Just a pity places like Mpande etc. are not well managed by Eatern Cape Dept of Environmental Affairs. Its a jewel . Need more campsites though!
Well done

Thanks Guys,

Ja, nice to see the article in print at last! :woo: Drive Out #34 (Dec09/Jan2010), pgs 42-45, for those who havn`t seen it yet.

I recon we need to make a concerted effort to get more Patrol pics into the off-road mags.

The wildcoast is awesome....can`t wait to explore it further!!

Ross, the thing about that stretch of coast, I want to build a house around every bend or cove you get to. Luckily the Governmnet has stopped all this cottages been build, but it is definately the best real estate in SA. Imagine having a shack at a small river mouth and beach. We camped at Mpande 2 yrs ago.Launched my kayak everyday, caught Musselcracker and returned them all alive . Kept the Cray,s off course. Rowed and played with bottlenose dolphins everyday. Also beautifull snorkling tidal pools there.
Maybe we need to have a CTG there somewhere. The locals are all friendly and helpfull, they are real platteland/rural people.

Congrats again, even your articles in the SANissan forum is excellent.

Well done Ross!

Yes, if Nissan SA themselves do not promote the Patrol, then we as owners have to do it this way. Exposure...exposure....exposure!!!!
Patrol fan!
