Ok Piet het eerste opsie op hom .....kom ons kyk wat gebeur hulle wag nog vir papiere ect tb42 met diff lock ...as ons te veel bel gaan hulle dink hy is gesog

Guys, after dreaming and thinking, i am afraid i simply can't afford it right now.

I have had a look and a short drive though.
The engine is a TB42 4.2l petrol engine with carburettor. 4wd and low range works, and there are no horrible noises underneath. Nor are there any signs of bumps and scrapes underneath. Suspension and exhaust appear to be standard. However:

Interior has been re-done, but not exceptionally well. The driver's door lining particulalrly is a bit of a mess. The interieo roor handle is not attached to the door itself.
The passenger window doesn't work.
The windscreen washer spray doesn't work.
The earial does not retract fully.
The diff lock solenoid only creates vacuum in one direction, and the tubes are buggered. I thus do'nt know if there is anything wrong with the diff itself.
The engine has a miss, and there are several oil leaks. I did not see any smoke though.
A couple of water hoses have been patched, and the overflow bottle is broken at the corners, although it still holds water.
The coil is the wrong size for it's bracket.
The oil pressure seems a little bit low at idle, and i felt the temperature climbed very quickly. I suspect it will get hot if asked to work hard.
There are several little dents and places where the clear coat is wearing through.

I would suggest a compression test to make sure the miss is not something serious, and the car will need some love before it could be relied upon, but i still would love to own it.
