Alpine Aqua cooling system

Hi almal

Is this not a water to air intercooler.... I would really like to do this conversion as I believe that for a top mount IC there is soooooooo much heat soak that the water to air will probably be the best way of dealing with that.
What would you want for it? I might be able to get it up here to JHB from Richards bay via my better halfs company.

Hmmmmm.... just looking at it now carefully..... is that not maybe for a watercooled turbo. I can't see if that fitts an intercooler or turbo. If you are keeping the same turbo, then I think you will need this....

ricster, I think this acts as an intercooler but works slightly different.

Ill post another photo of the "Intercooler". It basically connects in between the turbo and the intake and then has water that runs around it and cools it down. The small "radiator" sits in front of the engine radiator and its got a water pump that circulates the water through it.

In short, its basically a normal intercooler inside a box with water flowing around it.

Oh and I live in Centurion, PTA. Richards Bay is just my home town.

Brilliant.... Lets talk turkey.... you said " Ek het nie n idee of dit iets werd is nie so sal dit pretty much weg gee of ruil vir enigiets wat ek dalk kan gebruik op my Patrol".... well I have an old TD42 piston with a hole in it.... a TD42 head with a crack in it ( will make a fantastic door stop in a hurricane)..... well used aluminium side steps.... and lots of empty 5L oil containers.... so I'll have to give you some money.... :rolling: :rolling:

Whats the condition like, basically regarding leaks ? I hear that is the main issue.

I have tested it to see if it leaks between the water and the air side and all seems well in that department. The water pump also works 100%
