Hardbody/1 Tonner leave springs

Post by SCUBA Patrol »

Hi Guys,

I know this is not a Patrol question but seening that we have all the knowlage o n ons site, I'm asking here!

Where in Cape Town area can I have new leave springs made for my dad's 1 Tonner? Or off the shelf springs? He is no hardcore 4x4ér but uses his bakkie for overlanding trips with a homemade camper canopy on the back.

If any of you can assist with recommendations I'll appreciate!

Phillip

Phillip,

My suggestion would to also have air helpers fitted. By adding more blades the vehicle suspension is going to become very hard. Air helpers will assist with the ride height and ensure a comfortable ride. Been tested in the truck industry and works very well.

Thanks for the advice on the air cells, will have a look at them aswell but if memory serves me well, the set up on the nissan suspensions does not allow for them or if there are avaialble it is emensty expensive.

Daai stelsleutel wat saam jou Camil sjox kom -- bêre hom mooi -- stel so 1/2 draai stywer na so 5 000 km [bietjie minder as jy BAIE keer rowwe paaie ry.]
