Bull bar, suspension and Chip
Hi Guys
Upgraded last night from my 1994 4.2 GQ to a 2001 4.5 GU yepeeeee!!!
Now looking at kitting it out, looking for a nudge bar or bull bar (not going to replace the bumper but mount the winch onto the chassis. Good idea or not??) and would like to upgrade the suspension to OME or something, also looking for a plug and play chip if anyone has one lying around.
Many Thanks
IanT

Re: Bull bar, suspension and Chip
Congrats Ian!
I would not fit the standard nudge bar. In my opinion it is so flimsy that it is not likely to afford any protection whatsoever, in fact if it bends into your plastick bumper it is likely to break that. It also detracts significantly from the approach angle, thus increasing the risk.
I would rather stay without?

Re: Bull bar, suspension and Chip
Hi Guys, Peter I agree with you but at the moment I can't find or afford a replacement bumper so in the meanwhile I need something to fit my spots onto, when the cash is looking a bit better I will replace it.
Would love some more info on why not to fit a chip I have only heard good things about them?
Thanks guys
