Guys,
Looking for a set (or more) of cruiser 16" 6 stud Split ring rims- need 5 for my Patrol
Not sure if the offset will be roughly the same, but my rims fit on a cruiser, so assuming it will work the other way around
Struggling to find any really good info on the web, so- if you know of a cruiser owner wanting to sell std rims, please let me know
Alternatively any of the (rare) patrol rims- must be split ring- have 15" steels

Re: 16" split ring rims Wanted
If I my give you advise, I have both Cruiser and Patrol and those things are terrible Not many fitment centre can properly balance those split rims and you always have some issues. Get yourself a good set of Steel rims. I got rid of my last set of split rims in Oct last year . If you really want a set you can contact the Guys from N1 4x4 they will come dearly.
Regards
Jeanne

Re: 16" split ring rims Wanted
Jeanne,
Agree with you, PLUS- I hate using tubes, as the tyre goes flat so quickly, BUT
Grew up with them (our hunting vehicle was an old landie), and I started life in a tyre shop- balancing tyres, so am used to them and I can balance them (difficult)
I have steel rims at the moment
One thing you cannot get away from, is that it is a damn site easier to replace the tyre/ fix a rim in the middle of nowhere- and I usually travel with 1 spare & 1 casing
On a long overlanding trip, it is the safer option- also they are generally narrower, and tough as hell- works well in mud and on rocky stuff
Can beat them with a hammer, weld them etc without worrying too much
Normal day to day use- I'd go normal rims....I do

Re: 16" split ring rims Wanted
I have 5 split rims that comes off my Safari. One is still the orriginal spare wheel with a tyre of 1984 that I used for about 40 km. The other 4 are a bit rusted but nothing serious so make me an offer.
Work is only hard for those who hardly work
