does anyone know of a good wheel alignment place in Centurion?
I want to take my Hardbody in for full alignment, castor, camber , ride heights etc. It has on a set of BFG's that have done 70k and are showing wear on the sides and I want to get the alignment sorted before fitting new BFG's.
Most places just do the Toe in/out and call it wheel alignment!!!!

From what I understand there isn't much adjustment that can be done on a Patrol, due to there being a solid front axle. Castor can as far as I know only be adjusted by fitting different offset bushes. Camber is a fixed thing that cannot be adjusted. Ride height adjustment, only new or different coil springs will help here, and that only leaves toe in/out adjustment available. They can fit a spacer on the front left ( I think its called a Panhard arm ) metal arm where it is bolted to the chassis, that houses the castor bushes, a little forward to assist with the "pull to the left issue. Mine was done at Dunlop Zone in Alberton and it did help a little.

Please correct me if i'm wrong..... :mytwocents: :mytwocents: :mytwocents:

Hi Cedric

I think it is his Hardbody he wants to do the wheel alignment on, not the Patrol.

Cheers

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the info, took the hardbody in on Thursday and hey it is sorted out ( the RH torsion bar was over adjusted) now it drives straight .Nice to deal with people who actually know wheel alignment and don't just set the Toe.
