I finally got around to bolting the prototype of my diff guard onto my car this weekend:

It has a flange that fits around the closure plate of the diff and is bolted to the axle casing using two M10 U-bolts bent from threaded rod. The flange is 8mm thick, the prection plate is 5mm thick and the nameplate is 3mm thick.
I have checked, it fits onto the 4.8 as well, so it should fit onto all the Y60 and Y61 models.
I haven't driven into anything with it yet though.

Right now, at R400 as shown or R450 galvanised.
You know the drill, 50% upfront secures your order...

Peter, I believe Grant has ordered one for me and himself from you, if I'm not mistaken. I'll sort out the bucks for you, for a R 400 one.... I'm gonna paint it with something bright and wild !!!
Thanks 'ol chap

Ricster, my thoughts are that perhaps all aftermarket items under the belly should become bright yellow!
Peter, I will deposit and mail you the confirmation. Not galvanised.
Also, is there not merit in a rear one?
