mORNING ALL
Got my tyres yesterday, at least my lorrie is not shaking , rock & rolling anymore when I hit 80km/h. Got 5 tyres for R7400 , they are running a special buy 4 and get the 5th one free, so it comes to R1480 per tyre, balanced and wheel alignment. This also includes VAT. Cannot actualy hear them much on tar and took a drive to the quarry for some dirt road, they say it has a 3 ply but it is defnitief more FLEX/SOFTER/SUPPLE than a BFG A/T. Going to uMfolozi game reserve on saturday and sunday and will run them at 1.6bar on the dirt road, currently at 2.4bar they are somewhat bumpy on the dirt.

The best part it comes with a mileage guarantee of 68 000 - 80 000km but you need to have them rotated & balanced every
7500km

I also fitted my Pro Comp extreme AT's last week. They are 285/75/16. I will try them in Lesotho and the Namib dunes in August.

Just remember, they are directional tyres. The V pattern on the tyre grooves shows you the direction your tyre rotates. Your right hand side tyres are facing the wrong way. You wil experiance aqua planing on wet roads. ( water build up between the grooves)

Was in Ponta this weekend and was very impressed with my ProComp in very soft powdry sand, het hul gery op 1.5bar en die sidewall is defnitief sagter as die BFG A/T wat ek gehad het, maak defnitief n groter boep, moes my een vriend met n Pajero uithelp om sy trailerte sleep en ek dink my bande het nogals n groot rol gespeel tesame met hierdie dieselagtige lowdown torque van die 4.2 petrol in low range, dit is darem erg lekker om jou lorrie net in low range te sit en wegtetrek asof jy op n teerpad is waar die Pajero erg gesukkel het.
