So here are some pictures of the occasion.Sorry to keep you guys in suspense, but I had some work to do today

.
I am not the worlds greatest cameraman and I don't have the greatest camera, but these will have to do. Jules is a much better photographer and has serious equipment, so hopefully he will post some snaps also. Of course, I only have pictures of the other vehicles there, but I am quite happy with the way the Patrol flexes now, with the new suspension and no anti-roll bars.
The participants were:
Jules: 4.2 Y60/GQ with OME, rear anti-roll bar, no front anti-roll bar
Donald: 4.8 Y61/GU IV with OME (I think), front and rear anti-roll bars
Willem: Ford Wrangler V6
Gerrit: 4.5 Y61 GU I with Ironman coils, TJM XGS shocks, no anti-roll bars
Here are the pictures...
Jules attacking an uphill axle twister with his rear difflock off:
Donald crawling up with no drama (and rear diff locked). He says that he does not want to "sukkel"

(suppose that is why hy drives a 4.8 Patrol).
Willem finding the limits of the Ford's flex:
Here are some shots of Jules' GQ at the same obstacle as the Ford:
...and here is Donald's mighty 4.8 doing the same thing:
Willem going through some axle twisting holes:
... giving Donald the opportunity to show off his superhuman strength:
Jules in the same holes:
Note Willem looking on longingly in this pic

:
... and Donald:
Donald's 4.8 strikes an imposing pose at the top of a hill descent:
...and on the way down:
Jules "Dances with Crocodiles" Truter walking the river crossing:
I am afraid that is where my camera batteries had had enough

(backup set is getting old and was also worthless), so we will have to get the rest of the story from Jules.
