Yo !!!! yoo hoooo !!! Where's everybody?
Ah - ther you are. Gents, Oompie is aiming for a short notice "Manne Week" coupled with soem Outreach to Botswana....
The planned (scheduled) outreaches to Botswana for this year is over, BUT I have an urge that I MUST go - To get the full insight on what Ds Gawi is doing on the "Feed the Bushman" project that he had started... (I feel I must share it with Goodhouse & AlexanderBay's people) - They also have urgent need of affordable food supply)
AND then we need to support Leon at Sepopa - if only morally with a visit - and around Seronga Outrech with the Jesus Film to way-out Cattle Posts [and take some Nissan spares for Willie for his 1984 Safari/Patrol]
Thus, If we can manage about 10 - 14 days away and enough guys to come along, and funds for the fuel, I will tackle this one in 2010 still. (How??? HE knows) Why ?? eisjjj man - WHY NOT ?
Activities would involve some soft (very soft) sand 4x4 driving; Makoro trips on the Delta; Outreach to small islands inside the Delta to tribes who ha shardly ever seen white people [NOT for "bang" people ["bang" = people who scare easily] (no cameras, no GPS allowed on this section, this is NOT a tourist destination but an outreach.) -
(And we will have daily 'quiet time' & 'Boeke Vat' ... )
Blessings, greetings & regards
Uncle Mac.
(And to those of you who cannot come along - please pray on this as well? - Baie Dankie)
Mail me at Nama(dot)Uitreik(at)gmail(dot)com
I am looking at 25 Sept to ± 8 October [if the majority of interested peopple decide on other dates, I can adjust .. BUT we need 10 days or longer.
Costs? Own food & accommodation costs (should be under R100 per day) and the passengers carry the fuel costs - [vehicle owners arrive with full tank, and group fills the tank at end of the trip]
This will go on ather forums as well, HECSA got it first. So, first come, first served

Re: Manne-Breek [and Outreach] to Botswana
Dankie
met my groetnis ook by,
Mac
Datums: 25 Sept - 8 Oktober
Kostes?
Ds Johannes Ramaifo skryf:
Greetings,
“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilzerness will rejoice and blossom…” Isa. 35 : 1
“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and it will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Hab. 2 : 3
Since the engine -breakdown of our two vehicles I could not take on the task that the Lord has given us to do- mission work in Kokong Botswana. We have identified 7 small villages in North Kgalagadi (Phuduhudu, Inalegolo, Moramoswi, Kokong, Khakheya, Kokotsha and Kutuku) and the cattle posts around to bring the Good News. People here are Basarwa and Bakgalagadi unreached and poor in all but what need to be done is not just preaching but to help Jesus as in Matt. 25 : 35-36.
“Though the fig tree does not budd and there are no grapes on the vines, ………… yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior”
Pray and thank God for missionaries in Kgalagadi.

Hey Guys / Dagsê Manne ..
Due to nobody being able to join in at this late stage and Oompie not closely having enough funds to go it alone, this outreach & 'Manne Breek' will not be taking place this September [Forwarded to next year ]

”What is beautiful for you?” This was the question that I asked one morning for the Bushmen while we were praising the Lord for Light and Life and Truth and Joy – because Christ Jesus is More than Enough – El Shadai. The first one answered that his wife is beautiful. I was surprised by the rest of the answers, it was mostly abstract, things like: “To work on the land is beautiful..” “To work together” one said “Communication is beautiful”. Unfortunately I didn’t make a list – the fact is that they enjoy it to work together – to do something meaningful. While we work someone will shout “Hallelujah!” or “Glory!!” or in Nharo (their language) “cham cham tjou!” Yes, i know you don't spell it like this – but it sounds like this and it means “bring your hands together – clap your hands. They are full of joy. When I asked Gideon what is beautiful for him, he said that he sees Beauty as B u T = Be you crucified with Christ of course. A pastor from Pretoria who presented a Bible course for leaders last week was surprised by their interaction and Biblical insight.
Dina and me are in the RSA at the moment. I attended a No-Tilling conference and realized that God is busy healing His land. It can not be otherwise – how long are you praying and humbling your selves? He promised it in 2 Chron. 7. Farmers are not ploughing because by turning the soil upside down they are killing billions of micro organisms, they cover the land surface with plant residue, rotating crops and do weeding properly. I learned a lot.
The Lord provided wonderfully by making hundreds of Mopany poles available in Gantsi. They are the ideal length and size for building with shade net and the prize is only P4.50 each. We will need more than 1000 poles. We used 140 poles for the church. Pray with me that the budget will increase. I want to use it to build the training base and Okwa Reteat.
We must also buy water proof shade net while we are in Pretoria. I get it at a very good price because we are using off cuts. Praise the Lord for R7,000 in the budget and that He will provide what we need.
The Bushman farmers planted the first 50 x 50 m land and of loaded the second big truck full of chicken manure and are de bushing the land in my absence. "Thank you Father for money to pay the transport."
(Gal 2:20) I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
