Re: LSD Oil - urgent
Then 2.1l does not sound to bad. Definately going to try this fix.

Re: LSD Oil - urgent
I swapped out the diff oil on my 350z the other day and also ended up using Castrol's Syntrax LSD product.
BTW: I can never understand why some mechanics insist on using a power or air tool bar to tighten drain plugs. The service manual for the 350z states very clearly that it should only be torqued to 35 Nm. This can probably be accomplished by a primary school kid using a plastic spanner...

Fanus, LSX works , so if you can get that, just go with That. Then over the next year stock up on syntrax whenever you see it.

Re: LSD Oil - urgent
Will phone around and see what I can get in Nelspruit, at this stage I am also not able to source LSX (yet).
How often do you need to change diff oils?
(And gearbox/transfer case?)

Re: LSD Oil - urgent
Saw some syntrax at a autozone in nelspruit: R90 for 500ml. Does the price sound right?Russ Kellermann wrote:Fanus, LSX works , so if you can get that, just go with That. Then over the next year stock up on syntrax whenever you see it.
Midas in my town said they can order the 500ml syntrax for me, only size on their system(cant remember at what price).
Does it not come in a 5liter?

Re: LSD Oil - urgent
This answers my question about the price on the previous post.Russ Kellermann wrote:Hey Dirk, Ja, thats the stuff i mentioned at the top of this page in my earlier post. Thats what i will be using next.
I can get it at my local Midas for 85 Bucks a bottle (500ml).
My H260 diff takes almost 5 litres of oil unfortunately.
