Well manne its delo 400 for me then too and then I will come down to the prescribed 7500km service interval or should I go to 5000km? And air and fuel filters on every 15000??

I do mine every 5000Km, with new oil filters. The airfilter will depend on the driving conditions I've been in during those 5000Km. Diesel filter I replace every 15 000Km, but check and drain a few millilitres out the bottom of the diesel filter every 5000Km to check for water.

Cedric that sounds quite acceptable, what filters do you use? Original Nissan or aftermarket?

Andre, I use the GUD or Fram ( made in the same factory apparently ) I have and after market oil cooler fitted so the pone filter closest to the firewall is shorter than the other. The short one is a GUD Z153 and the long one is a Z 292. The diesel is also GUD or Fram, and the air filter I use is for a Renault Megan 2.0 ( loads cheaper than any other matching filter)

Im also very happy with GUD filters and prefer the long Z292 as in theory there is more filter in the filter.
On the other hand I will be changeing my air filter to the real Nissan filter on my next service, It is about R450 at the dealers and it is no place to take short cuts in my opinion.
there is to much to modify and change when buying another cars filter (in my case I also use a Megane filter if I remember correctly). So yes its R300 more for the right filter but if dust gets into your engine when modifying a Megans filter.......you will be sorry you didnt pay the extra R300. :mytwocents:

What is the price difference on the diesel filter? (Gud/Fram)
I paid +/- R700 for the nissan diesel filter.

The diesel, 2xoil and air filter costed me about R1900... (all nissan)
