Gerrit, Yes I have the Escape Gear seat covers which I bought from Koos. Give me a call on 083 279 2717. The rest of the items will appear in the "marketplace" later today.
Here are some pics of the Cruiser I bought. The following extras are fitted to the vehicle, hence my exeptional interest in it.
Onca replacement front bumber, Warn 8000m winch, spotlights, dual battery system (front runner), SAC chip, FF/stainless exhaust + branch, Ironman 50mm suspension, rear air support suspension, rock sliders with H/J points, Airtec snorkel, speedo cruise control, Front Runner roof rack, second spare wheel, leather seats (optional to the original GX), Outback drawer system, some Front Runner equipment such as J/can brackets + cans, gas bottle brackets etc. Full service history with Toyota, accident free. New BFG tyres. The only addition I plan to do is a swing arm on the rear bumper for the second spare wheel. Otherwise TAWARIRA, as I named it, is ready for an extended African trip.

Peter,
Unfortunately I did not do a proper assecement to determine the exact cause of the fire. I was in such a hurry to re-pack for our trip to Moz that I did not had the time. After our return, the insurance company already despatched the car to a scrapyard. The electrics and hydraulics was so badly burned that it would have bee very difficult in any case.
In my view however, it remains one of two. Keep in mind that the fire was mainly on the left hand side of the engine and gearbox with the main flames right at the corner of the exhaust where it turns horisantally to stretch backwards:
1. Brake fluid spilled onto the hot exhaust which started the fire. The moment I noticed the smoke, I stepped on the brakes but to no ovail. The brakes therefore was already faulty. It took me at least 30 sec to get the car to a standstill. The gearbox oil eventually also spilled, but only for the last 30m before the car came to a standstill. I assume that the gearbox cooler pipe only burnt through at that late stage. The fire obviously then set the electrics alight. This theory is supported by the fact that I had the front flexible pipes replaced with longer pipes when I fitted the OME suspension.
2. The fire started in the gearbox harnass as a result of a short and spread quickly to the front of the engine bay. The only reason why I am sceptical about this theory resides in the fact that I did not had any electric fault light/signal on the panel at all.

Dankie Oom Mac! Uiteindelik het ons baaaaie lekker vakansie gehou.
Kobus, as ek jou been mag trek.....Om vir 'n man 'n "repair manual" te gee sodra hy sy voertuig koop, is dieselfde as om 'n rennie saam met 'n King pie te verkoop.
