What do you guys pay for delo 400 these days?

I see agrimark sells delo 400 for R435, 20L for R1600. (https://www.agrimark.co.za/product/calt ... d_source=1).

I personally have changed to Shell Rimula R4X.

Delo's just too hard to find.

use the wolf range from golf wagen 20w50 buy in 20l containers

Fuchs Titan Truck 15w40
Wolf 15w40

Any one of those will work fine, you don't have to change the oil viscosity as the engine ages. The TD42 dos not have a problem with oil........ it will be happy with anything really as long as you service it.

I heard that Midas Gold is basically the old Delo 400 that has been re-badged?

(I think Reenen said this at one stage, can't really recall)

I change the oil & filters in my TD42 so often that I do not really believe any of the (decent) brands will make a difference.

PS: I am glad nobody has said something silly like "My TD42 just loves xyz brand!" When your engine speaks to you, you are running out of time quickly and should start getting your testament in order
