Hi Wilkie
The warranty expired in May 2016 however Nissan where at this time already struggling with the same problem and had not resolved it. I would imagine all work will be still done under warranty. I will discuss with the dealer when I take it in.

N filter sal die selfde efek he of hy nou vol is of leeg is, so ek dink nie dit kan filter related wees nie, maar dit bly n opsie totdat hulle geruil is......

As ek moes bet sal ek na die pickup in die tenk kyk of in daai omgewing

Jip. Feul starfation. Restriction in the system somewhere. The lower the tank level the less gravity feed force. So any restriction wil be to much. Mine stalled at exactly the same corner on my way home from work when the tank was almost 1\4. I managed to put in some bad diesel somewhere recently. And the car tended to stutter and stall when I put foot. I replaced the blue diesel filter 2 weeks ago and problem is gone. There was a lot of black particles that came out of the filter.

come to think about it the company had a 2.5 Nissan navara with the same problem and it turned out to be that over prized fuel filter water trap system that was fitted in a place where only guys with verrry small hands can get to .....and therefor that filter wasn't changed on services

After reading what Rahul said in his post, I am convinced this id a fuel starvation issue due to that filter you mentioned Josh.
I think the 500ppm has too much sulphur and does not work well with the very fine filter.

Would love to hear the outcome of this as there are 3 vehicles which has exactly the same issue and one was solved just by changing the filter and the other by not using 500ppm any more.

Jip. Me to.

Paul must just make sure nissan is covering all the cost. It says cleary in the manual that the injectors are not re-useable or servicable. The injectors and piping must be replaced with new. I recon this wil cost a pritty penny or two.
