For the rest if you're interested. Listen for the grinding diff-lock noise at the 1 minute mark.

Re: Rear Axle Exploded View Needed
Hi Zantus,
Sorry, only saw this thread now. I havn`t watched the video, but one thing that I learned during the course of my diff issues is that the correct shimming of the diff lock actuator mechanism is critical to correct operation...the mech will either not engage properly, or slip out under load if not correctly shimmed. There is a procedure for checking and adjusting this in the workshop manual. If you want to PM me your email address, I will send you an extract of the relevant section of the manual.
I eventually resolved my diff issues by purchasing a complete new diff center for my original axle, as the 4.5 axle and diff that I bought turned out to have a bent pinion gear. The central diff carrier (containing spider gears and diff lock mech) is however still in excellent condition and available (as I want to recoup some costs) PM me if interested.
Regards,
Ross

Ow! Ow! Ow!
I'm very grateful for this thread. I now understand the weakness in the diff-lock design and better appreciate why Peter says he moves off very slowly until the locker has engaged. It's certainly something I am going to treat with great care.
