Did you make a claim at Nissan for mis-diagnosis and the cost of the solenoid bank?

That is Typical Nissan South Africa.... Ignore you point blank and simply think that refusing to answer emails/call will eventually make the issue go away,... problem is that often it does as the customer eventually just gives up the (non existing) fight. So it actually does work for Nissan.

Dealerships need to be made financially responsible for any/all mis-diagnoses . within fair parameters.

Glad he got the box sorted out .

Furthermore, ... i would NEVER EVER send a gearbox to mayfair gearbox. They are just as horrific as the Nissan Dealerships that send them there. Well, in the Western Cape they are , that i can vouch for.

Anyway.... Rant-mode off.

Also had a similar problem, when I fitted the real lights (each side of the rear door) and plugged in the trailer it popped the 10 amp fuse and will then not let you put the auto box into drive, manualy overide it using the button in front of the gear lever and got home! Replaced the fuse with a 15 amp and no more problems!!
