Had the same problem 2 weeks ago. Ben at BG Auto just put a small plate on the present bracket, moved the holes and gwala it worked. Took him 15 minutes to fix.

If Tunja is not interested, I will take it.
But also, otherwise, could you not perhaps post a picture. We can have the plate copied by one of the steelworkers on this forum?
Alex, I've got some 30mm Alu square tube so yes you can have it from Daniel - thanks for the offer

Anyone know what size bolt/wheel stud it is so I can go get 4 new longer bolts. I need to space my rear wheel out a bit to get the wheel cover to fit nicely and also I don't think the rubber resting on the paintwork is the ideal situation to have either. I'm going to space the carrier 20mm away from the door with an Aluminuim framework.

Cedric, please put some insertion rubber between your framework and the body. Else the frame is going to eat through the paint in no time.
Not sure what size bolts though, probably either M10 or M12.

Hello,
I do not know, if the problem of the breaking doors is known in your country.
If you mount bigger wheels to the backdoor, you might get a crack between the window and right edge of the right door.
With a plate between the sparewheel carrier there will be additional leverage.

wheelstuds are M12 x 1.25
Door is m10 x 1.25, Nissan one of the few cars that like using fine threads, the original is quite long to start off with
