I am really loving the multiple image upload capability on the new forum......really something usefull.

Already done. Any large images will convert to a thumbnail with a maximum border length or width of 1024px - depending whether it is landscape or portrait. The thumbnail will be shown in the post.

Clicking on the thumbnail will still allow one to see the full resolution image though.

Die nuwe forum werk op n kopie van die databasis, en dus nie dieselfde databasis nie. MAW, as jy jou password op die 'regte forum' (DWS die ene) verander het, sal die password op die toets forum nog die ou ene wees. Probeer oom se ou username en password op die toets forum. As dit nog nie werk nie, stuur asb vir my n PM. En ek sorteer dit uit.

100%. It is your avatar. I used yours as I'd been sorting out your avatar on the test forum. So I had a link to an avatar nice and close at hand.

Christo, I was/am having the same problem, and it seems like even here my avitar has gone missing. It also shows everyone elses avitar as the same pic. even yours shows on my side as a photo of the shadow profile of a patrol on a light brown sand. I have chatted with Ian about this, and I think he is busy trying to sort it out.

Cedric - apologies. To clarify: are the avatars now not displaying here either ? I've made absolutely no changes here...

Ian, I can see Chucks avitar, and it also shows on the thread. I also can see SJC's avitar, but the others are again of your car. If no one else is having these issues, then it can only be on my side. Our internet line is so bad for the last few months, and line speed sometimes makes it almost impossible to even get a 10Mb file to download !!!

We are looking into doing a change over to fibre, but the fibre ends 1 block away from our office, so connecting at the moment is not possible.

Bumping this for now, as I've updated the upgrade date. Not as a result of any further technical issues, but rather a pragmatic decision. ie: I may not have internet access tomorrow, and I'd like to be reachable by people in case there are any issues after the update.

Just bumping this again. 2.5 hours to go. Access will be restricted whilst the database updates run. After that, all will be good, but it may take a while before all issues are sorted out. By issues, I mean: some functionality will not be 100% sorted until I manually fix a few things.

I attempted to do the forum update today. It failed. Miserably... Going to go back to the drawing board and rework this. Sorry.
