All good bud. I drove with David in that same Patrol on the river trip...... Holy Smoke my good Sir.... that motor is a beast !!!! I think you will quite enjoy the drive compared to the 4.5 Petrol. The 4.8 is still a completely different beast though. But I believe you will love the 4.2 diesel !!

Ian that is a ex pick up motor ....technically the same but diffent thickness crank conrods different diesel pump and diff flywheel all the same as ud40 truck motor but also td42 yes :oldtimer:

Well not full, but I did fit a Madman and upped the fuel ever so slightly.

Still needs a boost compensator and pump calibration, injectors preasure check, boost actuator upgrade, 3" exhaust and proper tuning to have it going like a boeing
