yip it was a daunting task to drill the hole !!!..... but careful planning ( measure 27 times, drill once ) made it a little easier.

I pee'd myself with laughter last night. When I got home I asked my other son to get something out the back of the Patrol.... damn I'm a bad dad...... waited in ambush to see what happened when he opened the door..... oh my goodness.... epic FAIL !! ...... on his ass !!

Its not that it shot open, it was more the panic on his face when the unsuspecting youngster didn't expect the door to do what it did

Ek het ook die eerste paar keer amper op my agterent gesit nadat ek myne op gesit het. Ek het n nuwe 500Nm gebruik so as hy vir jou gekom het moet jy pad maak.
Die snaakste was toe ek hom afhaal en amper die deur in sy maai in gooi soos wat ek gewoond geraak het aan die stywe gas strut.

.... yeah the NM on the strut doesn't need to be high at all. I would guess ( purely a guess ) that even as low as 15 - 20Nm would work perfectly as all you want is for it to hold the door open.
