Sunday makes a lot more sense. Fri afternoon traffic near the New Rd or Olifantsfontein offramps can be hectic.

If you can it also makes much more sense to do Edenvale first and be gone before the traffic.

Was thinking to take R25, R515, R567 (Bapsfontein, rayton), might be quicker than driving through Pretoria? (traffic wise).

Fanus, this is used by quite a lot of trucks but is probably still worth it.

The only workable alternative is the R21.
Whatever you do, steer clear of Giloolys!

Conditions are still dry

The river at Rust de Winter is still not running at the moment.

The guide vehicle will have a water can, but please make sure you have enough drinking and washing water with you for the weekend.
