In the Patrol I have generally used 93 octane and mostly around town on weekends. I'm considering 95 for December where we will clock around 5000km.
Has anyone noticed consumption difference between 93 and 95 on their petrol Patrol (YES, YES, DIESEL OWNERS, SIT BACK AND ENJOY

Just curious, as I know the 4,8 GRX recommends 95 octane on the fuel flap. On my daily-driven Citi Golf, I definitely notice a ±1km/l extra and runs a bit more responsive with 95. I can justify that kind of mileage vs extra price on unleaded, but what difference will it make on the fuel gobbler where I am getting the ballpark 6km/l? Will it be noticeable? I might end up saving a measly R250 over the trip if there is no consumption difference, so the price is not really the main issue here. If I can get an extra 0.5km/l, that will end up saving me R750, which I might be happier with!
