Hi all,

Some might recognise me from nissan4x4.co.za, but either way HOWZIT everyone.

I've been reading some of the posts here... from behind the curtain.... :lol: but I'm now looking to buy my 1st Patrol. Swambo has a Mazda 3 that her company says she must sell and buy another car (car allowence & company policy), so I'll probably have to sell my good ol' faithfull SANI, that has towed quite a few LR out of the beach sand in Mocambique :lol:

I look forward to my Patrol Hunting...........

Watch this site to get a heads-up on the next Patrol outing in Gauteng, then and tag along. That way you'll have plenty of Patrols & their owners to get 1st-hand info from...

As Ewald said - Chuck's legendary for making hectic obstacles feel like a flat, tarred road. But then again, so are all Patrols :thumbup:

Christo, that sounds like a good plan. I'll keep my ear to the ground....(for the rumbling patrol of Patrols).

I haven't got my patrol yet. Swambo still has to decide what car she would like to get...... and we all know how long that could take :surprised: .... :lol:
but good things come to those who are patient!!!

I am not too fussed which Patrol to get, but I don't think it will be the 3.0 diesel. Ideally the 4.2 diesel with turbo conversion. or the 4.5 Petrol. Price depends on the extras I guess. Without extras, somewhere around R 100 - R110 000. but not more than R130 with some extras if possible, as I need to put together a few rands to do a trip to "Troll" Nam(ibia) in December and then down to my folks in the Cape. So price is as always ....EVERYTHING....ha ha.

:think: I'm not sure if I can place an ad in the for sale section on this forum for the Mazda 3 I want to sell. Please let me know if I can.
