sorry Stefan... a bit late replying but as the whatsapps said these are kickass speakers ..... and yip got the separate tweeters mounted in the door.

I need to upgrade the sound in my Patrol as well....glad this thread came to life again, I didnt know it existed

Thanks Cedric. Only remembered I had you on WA after posting here. Ordered the 4x 6.5" Kicker speakers and 2 tweeters from takealot last night! ETA is only next week!

I am heading much the same direction as you, I have replaced my rear speakers a while back with 6" JVC speakers wit built in tweeters and they sound really good..... so good I can barely hear my front ones

My plan is to go for the 6.5" setup with the sub under the seat, my friend's Anarok has a sub like that under his seat and it sounds awesome!!

Would you mind listing a link of your items you baught on takelot?

Yip, that's the one. For such a small sub it really delivers a great sound and clarity. and you can play with the settings quite easily for different sound performance, and an easy separate volume control.

Michael just not as the kids gets a little bigger the sub is in the way of their feet, I had to remove mine as my son can not sit in the back with the sub under the seat, still looking for a "new" place too fit it..........
