Hi
Just a quick info of the patrol I purchased last month.
After a month of driving around in town, the truck was absolutely fine and no issues. I had to fill her up for the first time at a total garage, both main and sub tank as I had plans. Now after driving to Pretoria and back home the MIL light was on. Parked at home and after two hours the indicator was off. The following day, drove to Sun city and half way the car was loosing boost, but slightly. On my way back and lucky I was very close to home, the car started loosing boost quite rapidly. I had to pull her off the road and the it would be fine again. This time however, the MIL light is on although the engine is running and wouldn't go off.
Northwest Nissan is towing the vehicle today. Will let you know of the outcome and the cause.
Model: 2013.
Mileage: 44,000 (It has been through the 45K service at Mark white Nissan before I purchased)

Re: Low Boost and MIL light "On" ZD30 CRD
Afternoon gents,
Apparently, there was a problem with the accelerator positioning sensor. Some how the connections to this sensor is not plugged in properly. Since the vehicle is ride by wire, if no voltage is passed to the sensor then there will be no acceleration as no signal is passed to the ECU.
All is well now..enjoy your long weekend gents.

Re: Low Boost and MIL light "On" ZD30 CRD
Glad its sorted
I am also running with a MIL light burning. Its a "low EGR flow" error. Doesnt put the car it limp mode thow and their is no other isseus. SAC boksburg got it reset. But came back on again. I blank off the EGR over a year ago, but since I installed the free flow, this light has started comming on with a P0401 error. But i will get it sorted.
