Will "attempt "to join you on Saturday.

Due to a lack of experience, ground-clearance, stock vehicle etc. etc. ....I would like to join group 2
( "absolute beginners - to the less experienced once").

If one of the "obstacles" gets to rough or if Cedric puffs too much black smoke at me, I might opt for the escape route .... if there is one.

hehehe..... I only puff black smoke at the golden oldies.... that drive petrol Patrols.....hahaha

I think I will be assisting on the novice course, so Henning..... It will be an honour to assist you through any and all obstacles. The brilliant thing about the Nissan Off Road Club is that egos are left far far away, and we will do our best to ensure that you enjoy the day and learn exactly what your Patrol can do. We are also always open to any question you or anyone wants to ask. It doesn't matter if it might seem like a silly question either, cause when I started out I had to ask those silly questions, and not once did anyone EVER make me feel like I was a chop. Hey.... Even me after a good few years of driving offroad I am still learning new things all the time. Nobody knows everything!!

So best you fill up on Friday. Pack in some cold water/juice. Pack in sunblock and all the recovery gear you have ( even though Patrols don't get stuck....hahaha), and we will see you on Saturday !!

PS ..... No alcohol to be consumed prior to driving and whilst driving the course. Although technically the co driver is not driving the vehicle it would be appreciated if the co driver also refrains from drinking before or during the course. We don't want a situation where the co driver is guiding a vehicle over an obstacle whilst under the influence of alcohol.

BUT.... afterwards I can promise you, I will be partaking in a beautifully poured Klippies Premium and Coke with ice, to end off the fantastic day, with maybe a quick piece of meat on the braai !!!
