I think most of the guys will be traveling from the Gauteng area toward Pietersburg.

Should you want to drive in a "convoy", the Petro port on the N1 just outside of PTA is usually the best place to meet up.

But you guys need to arrange this amongst yourselves as we are to big a group to try and organize this, so should you know at what time and what day you are leaving and you want to have some folks join you start a list with the time of departure from the petro port.

Myself will be leaving on the Thursday morning from Krugersdorp but only after 1st break as the kids still need to write a test that morning so I will be a bit late..... around 12h00 at the Petro port and then I average a speed of 110km so I dont travel fast.

We will also leave early Thursday morning, but are going to make a pit stop in Naaboom to see the Outlaws for lunch, then will hit the road to meet up at the 1st spot.

Can you imagine driving a convoy of 30 odd Patrols on the highway ..... the blue light brigade will feel sooooooo left out ....hahaha

We always leave for these trips at the same time. SWAMBO has ruled.

The way we do things 5 Patrols can make an epic trip...

I do not think we will go below 30 with the way I have been harrased about this trip but if anybody wants to invite a fellow patroler not on the list they are free to do so, however I dont want to increase the numbers with other vehicles just for the sake of numbers as I know of quit a number of people that will join if we opened up but that defeats the purpose of this trip then.

If there is a lot of cancellations we can put it on the Nissan site but lets first see what happens pls.

Just to make you guys a bit jealous:

Going on a "mini river trip" at the moment.
Will be doing some field work on the Moz side of the Kruger transfrontier park at Giriondo and basically camping out in big 5 country until Thursday using exactly the same car as the real trip.
Will be in area with no support -just like river trip! Only difference will be that I will have lions and elephants for company instead of a lot of loud Patrollers.
