Hi,the exhaust wont make a noise,a proper free flow is not noisy.I recomend Dastek for your service and tuning.

Unless you're running really rich and get overrun! lol

Then you can take you 4.8 and go hang out with the guys who race on the M5 on Thursdays...lol

Yes with overrun of a 4.8 you can keep a 1.3 chico running with the key off, behind the patrol.

Hello all,
Is their an "idiots guide" to the "chip"

What is it - do you actually replace the chip on the ECM?
Does it eliminate the feed from the Knock sensor?

Do you know if there are Garages in Saudi that do this - or a facility in Riyadh that has a "Dyno"

I have replaced my TB45E engine and it has two problems.
I have since switched to only high octone (95)

Problems 1 - when starting tye car in the morning, the engine revs high, and as there is initially low oil pressure, the big end knocks. for 1 second.
I believe it has something to do with fuel dripping from an injector. at night. also happens if vehicle not running for a couple hours.

Problem 2. Pinking, low power on long uphill, and sort of resonating engine sound when decelarting? no exhaust backpressure? or faulty advance / retard?

Problem 3..... where is the Knock sensor - I would like to check if it is 460megaohm. / check wiring.

comments will be most appreciated.

Thx
Faanie
