In my previous post on our Year 2014 Activities I mentioned:

Daar in die middel van nêrens, op Rietfontein, tussen Ellisras en Groblerbrug is ‘n Weeshuis vir Vigs Wesies wat bitter min steun of andersins aandag kry. Ons wil hande vat met 4x4-Groepe en Koedoesrand Gemeente om vir hierdie weeshuis ‘n “Kersboomfunksie” te gaan aanbied. Daar is 120 Vigs Wesies in Rietfonteinkinderhuis, ouderdomme wissel van 4 tot 16. Ons sal hulle graag wil bederf met ‘n geleentheid wat hulle altyd sal bybly. Die aand sluit ons af met die Jesus-film vir Kinders.

Ons vra vrywilligers om saam te kom en deel te hê aan hierdie spesiale dag. Verblyf sal gereël word vir Vrydag en Saterdag aand/nag en sal u niks kos, nie. Ons kan groepe vorm en saam ry. Geskenkies, soos veral kinderskoene / tekkies en bord-speletjies sal baie verwelkom word.

NOW -- the ball is rolling. We have a team contacting factories & shop groups to sponsor: Tekkies; Shorts; Shirts for the 117 kids living scattered in the Trust area Rietfontein.

The Program is is such: We arrive there Friday 28 Nov. The community sponsors our stay at KOKOMORI Lodge. [Place for 24 persons .. ]
Saturday is KRISMISBOOM .. CHRISTMAS TREE
Saturday evening the community treats us to a SKAAPBRAAI
Then on Sunday, those with 4x4 can do the "Mountain 4x4 Trail" .. and afterwards at own steam find their way homewards..

The Ladies of Bush Babes are taking care of some items, MOOT Jeug will be doing the Games .. but we still need a handfull of 4x4 to take the kids on a short drive [and to transport the gifts for the Kids ..].

Vir die wat dalk miskien moontlik nie die jaareind funksie gaan bywoon nie -- dalk nog iemand wat wil kom help om die Rietfontein trust plaas kids n onvergeetlike Kersboom 2014 te laat ervaar ??
