Still running in vehicle. Can be tested, or i can make a video of it running. Ii will only taking it out once its sold. Comes with injectors, exhaust intake - complete. Replacing with Diesel V8

I notice that your details state that you have a 4.2TD, but that you are selling the 4.5 inside the car.
Can you confirm if this is a 4.5 petrol or the 4.2TD diesel that you are selling?

What is the mileage on it?

Witblits. I have the luxury of 2 Patrols. 1 has a modified 4.2 Diesel with 35inch tyres. The other is a stock 98 4.5 Petrol . .. . . I have a spare 6.5 turbo diesel engine from a Chev Suburban project and i am keen on putting that in the 4.5's place

4.2 with 35's ???? I wanna see some pics !!!!.... How does it drive? ... did you change diff ratios? what mods did you do to the 4.2???...... so many questions....so little time

Do you have the VIN "F" or L65 series from Detroit Diesel? Some of them came out with retarder/engine brake / exhaust brake, but AFAIK not on the Suburbans. That would be a nice to have on a 4x4, and it should not be that difficult to retrofit.

Re. the 4.5, a key consideration will be the km's clocked, can you shed light on this?
