clutch????????????????

Ok so the starter is back in and theTroll starts no problem.

Wanted to take it for a drive around the block

The gears seem to be all fine, no funny noises in that department, however the clutch seemed a bit spongy I thought when pulling out.

BUT there is no power the motor turns over the refs go up but she just wont accelerate there is just no power

Yep definately clutch slipping. Can put it in4th gear and she will just keep on idling, doesnt die and doesnt move

As far as I know a Nissan clutch was put in about 30 000km ago. Bleddie mud

Get somebody to operate the pedal while you look underneath, check that the lever moves. Whith the pedal released, you should be able to move the lever a little bit. If you can't, the problem is hydraulics...

Is daar modder in die clutch wat die clutch teen die flywheel laat gly?

Trol is oppad na Toyo Service sodat Raplh vir my kan kyk, geen manier wat hy PTA sou haal nie.

Sal hopelik later hoor wat presies is fout.

Indien ek wel clutch moet vervang waar is beste plek om een te koop vir die GQ??

Dirk, die goedkoopste "pirate" wat ek kon kry was net so 15% goedkoper as Nissan.

Ek het nog die plaat wat uit my 4.2 gekom het as jy belang stel, hy het minder as 1mm wear op...

wonder maar net ...
as jy die clutch trap is daar darem weesrstand of voel dit so n moderne golfie se clutch
kan jy die kar in rat sit sonder om die clutch enigsins inte trap,
indien wel wonder ek of jou slave dalk nie net vassit en eintlik as jy die clutch trap gebeur daaar niks nie.

Sover ek weet word die patrol se ratkas omtrent vasgesilkon aan die engine so modder en water behoort glad nie intekom nie
