Re: Diff lock switch replacement

Post by Dan A »

Sorry to bump an old thread guys, but i have the exact same problem, please some one tell me how to disconnect that horrible buzzer??

seems to come on with the lights left on also, only it's a little louder now..... :O

my 04 patrol has been to nissan and no faults showing up,my vacume hoses were rusted (the pipes at the rear) and it injested a lot of crap,i tried re-plumbing new vacume hoses back and using compressed air to clean out but no joy,i think one of my soloneoids is shagged maybe....

it's a slow on to try and find,my diff lock only works if i plug out the diff switch or pull off a vacume hose under the hood,it never works by nor ever worked by the switch, funny thing is the lights only recently came on,one solid diff lock light and a flashing ABS light, with that nasty buzzer constant...

any ideas firstly on how to get rid of that buzzer??
