Thank you Dirk for a great day at the Feared MOEGATLE. Congratulations also. That KLIP is actually a kluitjie.
It was both myself and Dirk"s first time there , and we will be back. Both GQ s made mincemeat of most of the obstacles and we both got good experience.
We did not have a guide and without gps we would still be looking for the way back. There are very few route markers.
I managed to break an engine mounting (second one in three weeks) and thus did not go up that pebble. Ill be back.
Got some great pics, will post tomorrow.

Watter enjin mounts het jy? Ek verstaan jy het die 4.5 enjin in? hoe breek jy dan so baie mounts?
Kan jy 'n foto van die gebreekte mount opsit.

Met die ombouing kon ek nie nuwe GQ mounts kry nie en het toe mounts gebruik van my l28 safari enjins af. Het n container vol parte vir hulle.
Dit het vir baie jare goed gewerk , maar is duidelik nie die regte opsie nie.
Is op die oomblik besig om maar by Nissan die regte mounts te probeer kry.
Terloops , die mounts in Midas se katalogus wat spesefiek wys 4.2 petrol patrol is verkeerd. Dit pas op die VG30 enjins.
