GQ Brake Upgrade

Post by Grant »

Hi Gents,

I am looking for assistance in upgrading the braking system (discs front & rear) on my 96 ST4.2D (334500km). SAC's Centurion have gone through the brakes, and all is ok. New brake fluid fitted, but the lack of feel still their.

I have contacted most of the after market shops, with no luck. All indicate that their not enough units sold to warrant any development.

Hi Grant,

Last year I installed new front disks and pads from Powerbrake to my Hilux SFA. I found out the other day that the brakes are excellent when I was forced to use them in an emergency stop.

Hi Clive,

I have already tried. They indicated that they would need a minimum of a 100 units to start production/design. Not enough GQ Patrols to warrant production.

Thank you very much
